PKMN Rival: Hiro

JC's childhood rival, Hiro. His family were originally breeders from Johto but moved to Sinnoh when Hiro was a child and settled in Hearthome where he met JC and her family. Their mothers never got along as they were both equally skilled in their professional, unlike their husbands who get long very well.

Hiro is JC's rival in Pokemon Contests, like May and Drew, and is also skilled as a Pokemon Trainer. As you've already guessed, the Dusknoir, Memphisto, was his first Pokemon and best friend. Hiro is calm and collective but acts smug and arrogant when around JC and often taunted her with smart-aleck replies just to irritate her.

His team have the tendency to pick on JC's team when neither trainers are around.

Sigurd (Skarmory, picks on Talon)

Krowscar (Cacturne, PlumPlum's major tormentor)

Atlas (Wailord, the gentle giant of the group. Doesn't like to pick fights unlike his team-mates)

Memphisto (Dusknoir, speaks in a polite and gentleman-like manner. He has a huge thing for Miyuki, both of them being contest champions and all, but Miyuki always turns him down. Hiro even once suggested to JC about breeding their ghost types but JC refused each and every time as Miyuki clearly didn't like Memphisto and the way he treats her team)

Morphon (Venomoth, likes spreading powders over JC's team to make them sneeze and such)

Diggory (Dugtrio, causes earthquakes to shake the rival teams off balance)
